The Spring 2014 Connestee Falls Tour of Homes had perfect weather and a great turnout. Visitors from Brevard and around the region were on hand for a glorious spring day in the mountains and a tour of the community.
The tour provided an excellent cross-section of life at Connestee with 13 homes priced from the low $100s to the $500s. The tour also covered much of the community and its 53 miles of private roads offering visitors the chance to see Connestee Falls in all its spring glory.
Connestee Falls residents were on hand to welcome visitors at the final stop reception in the Overlook Clubhouse. Marge Versprille, Lois O’Conner and Susan Oland made everyone feel welcome as the official resident welcome committee in the Blue Ridge Lounge of the clubhouse. The clubhouse team demonstrated a bit of their expertise with an assortment of Hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Aaron Lawrynowicz.
“Like everything else here at Connestee Falls, it’s our residents that really make this such a great place to live,” said Jim Lorah, Connestee Falls POA General Manager. “Many folks from across the community helped to make the event a success including the marketing committee members who were involved with planning, residents opening their homes for tours, and the ladies that made our guests feel welcome and invited at the clubhouse.”
Lorah also said broker participation was key to making the event possible and thanked Lynda Hysong and the team at Connestee Falls Realty, and the other participating Realtors from Lake Toxaway Company, Steve Owen and Associates, Keller Williams Professionals, Sandra Purcell & Associates, Top Of The Falls Realty, and Beverly-Hanks South.
If you missed the Spring Tour stop by the Connestee Falls Information Center open daily at 5500 Greenville Highway, just outside the Connestee Falls main gate. One of the team there can help to arrange a personalized tour of Connestee Falls.
