The Connestee Falls Resident photographers were out in force this summer capturing some great shots of the beauty and life at Brevard, North Carolina’s best mountain community. The Property Owners Association regularly runs resident photo contests and the winning photos are published here on the blog. Each winner also receives a gift certificate to the Overlook Clubhouse.

Connestee Falls Volunteer Fire Department brought Uncle Sam to the community via fire engine number 9-8 and Elaine Deppe caught it on camera for a little slice of summer life.

Connestee Falls has four large mountain lakes and Wayne Steifle snapped a beautiful morning at Lake Atagahi.

A big part of getting a great photo is being there. Connestee Falls has miles of trails through hundreds of forested acres and Jody Lee shot a wonderful moment of sunshine through the trees in the forest at Connestee Falls.

One of the best amenities at Connestee Falls is the fantastic mountain views. Art Montandon caught this view of a nice one from the deck behind his home. It’s a beautiful scene of sun, clouds and smokey mountains.
