Connestee Falls 2018 Sales Top 100 Again
The appeal of Western North Carolina’s most unique private community continued to be strong with buyers in 2018. For the third year in a row, home sales in Connestee Falls topped the 100 mark (based on MLS data which does not include direct sales by owners.) The trend also showed continued growth in new construction.
“We have been fortunate to have a steady supply of existing homes on the market to meet the continued strong demand,” said Connestee Falls POA GM Jim Whitmore. “There have also been builder spec homes sold and new builds on sold lots that have added to the sales totals.”
According to Whitmore, the pace so far this year is showing continued momentum with sales in January up year-over-year from 2018. He said surveys of recent home buyer trends indicate an increase of people choosing to have permanent homes at Connestee Falls.
“Home prices have been steadily rising at Connestee Falls over the last five years,” said Connestee Falls Realty broker Lynda Hysong. “But with the average still under $350,000, Connestee offers excellent value for buyers compared to similar amenity communities in the region.”
