New Clubhouse Team Making A Difference

Managers Ready For 2017 Season

Nancy Glazer-Roberts & David Miles

A new clubhouse management team is bringing new excitement to Connestee Falls. Since joining the team late last year, Nancy Glazer-Roberts, Director of Clubhouse Operations, and David Miles, Director of Food and Beverage, have focused on making an already great experience even better for members and guests.

Going into the 2017 season they have introduced new flair to the menus, added the Carolina Dining Room to Open Table and  introduced a new food truck that will serve the golf course and other amenities.  They are expanding the bar and lounge area in the club.

Here is a bit of background on this dynamic duo that leads the dedicated club team at Connestee Falls:

Hailing from sunny Florida, Nancy got her first taste of the hospitality industry right here in North Carolina during a summer trip to the state. Nancy spent most of her childhood in Florida but later moved to Savannah Georgia where she graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy. Her interest in meeting new people from different places is reflected in her diversified resume. As Director of Membership for the West Orange Chamber of Commerce in Orlando, Nancy learned the importance of networking to bring businesses and communities together. She has also worked as the special events/front of the house manager for two award-winning restaurants in Orlando.

David Miles is a native of London England with a hospitality degree from Westminster College. His early career included Executive Chef positions at the prestigious Kensington Close Hotel and five-star Carlton Hotel Bournemouth. The majority of his career has been as the general manager at some of the world’s leading supper clubs including Stringfellows in London. He was also part of the team that opened and ran the world-famous Hippodrome Night Club. In the U.S., David has also managed several premier clubs including Rein’s Supper Club in Manhattan. Most recently he spent eight years in Longwood, Florida where he reprogrammed Peter Scott’s into a Jazz Supper Club earning the coveted 4-Diamond rating and a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

“We are proud to have these two highly experienced professionals on the team,” says Connestee Falls General Manager Keith Lamb.  “Nancy and David have already made a positive impact and they will continue to take the club to the next level.”
