Position Summary: Connestee Falls has recently renovated its 26,000 square foot clubhouse, which features a large main dining room with an excellent menu, a lounge with full bar and a sports grill. The clubhouse also offers banquet facilities with a large hall and meeting rooms that are available for private events. Our clubhouse overlooks our championship George Cobb designed golf course that winds through the mountains with beautiful vistas along the way. At Connestee Falls, we take pride in providing a year-round fine dining experience to our members, to their guests and to the general public. Our Bartenders provide an excellent guest drinking experience by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This position will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customer’s needs and expectations. This position provides set-up, service and performs closing procedures for the bar areas including satellite bars. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and communicate food and beverage selections, have a team focus mentality, adhere to the company’s standards of service and maintain a professional appearance and clean work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
  • Requests and/orders additional supplies as necessary.
  • Establishes and carries out set-up procedures.
  • Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
  • Greets members and guests.
  • Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by Management.
  • Collects payment for drinks served.
  • Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
  • Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment in accordance to safety and company standards.
  • Implements and maintains par levels for liquors, beers, wines and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
  • Performs closing and lock-up duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Attends staff meetings as needed.
  • Ensures that effective beverage/alcohol orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experience staff are planned and implemented.
  • Ensures that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and utilized.
  • Assists in developing wine lists and bottle/glass wine sales promotion programs.
  • Assists in developing on-going professional training programs for bar production/service personnel.
  • Assists in developing nightly drink specials and pairings for special theme menu.
  • Organizes sodas and beverages in all areas including bag-in-box system and storage.
  • Complies with all company safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related work experience.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Clubhouse menus.
  • Food & Beverage computer/POS experience.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude.
  • Must possess good written and excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with members, guests and co-workers.

Position Summary: Connestee Falls has the Brevard area`s best mountain golf. The championship George Cobb designed golf course offers exceptional play at 3,500 feet. The course winds through the mountains with beautiful vistas along the way. Seeing beautiful wildlife on our course is a daily occurrence. Working outdoors in the cool mountain air is also a perk. Our Beverage Cart position drives a motorized beverage cart and is responsible for the sale of beverages and snacks while on our golf course. This position is also responsible for stocking the cart with supplies and breaking down the beverage cart towards the end of the shift. Our Beverage Cart position is responsible for serving all food and beverage items to our members and guests in a professional, knowledgeable, respectful and courteous manner. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and communicate food and beverage selections, have a team focused mentality and adhere to the company`s standards of service. A professional appearance and clean work environment is a must. This position must also display a positive and friendly attitude.   • Balances cash drawer and member charges at end of shift.
  • Fuels beverage cart as needed during shift.
  • Cleans beverage cart as needed and disposes of garbage accordingly.

  • Reports any mechanical issues to supervisor immediately.
  • Returns unused stock to its proper place at end of shift.

This position is responsible for cleaning the food delivery, storage and food preparation areas. This position helps maintain inventory of china, glassware, hollowware, silverware and cooking utensils. The dishwasher will be responsible for operating a commercial dishwashing machine and loading and emptying the machine throughout their shift. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and follow instructions, adhere to the company’s cleaning standards and maintain a sanitary work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and organizing dish room and dish machine.
  • Operates dish machine to company and manufacturer`s specifications.
  • Restocks all detergent, sanitizer and floor cleaner as needed.
  • Assists with cleaning other areas or equipment of restaurant as requested.
  • Sets up buffet lines as specified by the Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
  • Washes pots, pans and trays.
  • Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and other kitchen related areas.
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
  • Removes garbage and places it in designated containers.
  • Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans and re-lines with new garbage bags. Breaks down cardboard as needed.
  • Polishes silverware, platters and chafing dishes using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work area.
  • Loads and unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
  • Assists chefs as needed.
  • Complies with all company safety policies and procedures.

Our golf course maintenance crews helps us maintain our golf course in pristine condition. This position is responsible for the maintenance of the golf facility, which includes but is not limited to the day to day course maintenance, aeration, working on special projects, assisting with irrigation system, equipment repair and storm damage clean-up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The safe and efficient operations of all equipment used in the maintenance of the golf course.
  • Daily maintenance of said equipment to include, but not limited to: washing, applicable greasing and fueling.
  • The completion of any and all assigned tasks as efficiently and safely as possible.
  • Bunker preparation and repair.
  • Cleaning of facilities.
  • Repair and maintenance of course accessories.
  • Laying sod.
  • Removal and cleaning up of debris.
  • Blowing leaves.
  • Aeration, as necessary, throughout the course.
  • Planting and removal of trees and other plant material.
  • Tee box setup and rotation.
  • Reading directions and instructions on proper use of equipment.
  • Proper use of safety equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid driver`s license.
  • Have a thorough understanding of, or possess the ability to learn the proper handling of golf course maintenance equipment and operation thereof.
  • Have a thorough understanding of, or possess the ability to learn golf course maintenance operation in general to include, but not limited to, all mowing practices, cultural and mechanical practices.
  • Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50lbs from ground level, repetitively as needed.
  • Must be able to climb on and off equipment and up and down embankments.
  • Must be able to walk for at least 30 minutes continuously.
  • Must be able to use fingers and hands with the ability to grasp due to use of equipment.

Work Schedule:
6:30am to 3pm or 6:30am to 10am. Every other weekend is required. Two part-time positions available and schedule may vary.
