Rainbow trout at Special Olympics Fishing DayThe Connestee Falls Fishing Club is one of the largest resident organizations in the community including over 600 members.  With four beautiful mountain lakes, stocked regularly with rainbow trout and bass, it’s no wonder there are so many fishing enthusiasts.

But the club and its members do so much more than just fish.  Each year they host a variety of fishing events at Connestee Falls as part of their Out Reach Program.  Recently, on a beautiful morning in May at Lake Atagahi Park, the club held its annual Special Olympics fishing day.  Several area Special Olympians experienced the thrill of fishing at Connestee Falls.

The Fishing Club Out Reach Program is just one of the many ways Connestee Falls residents and organizations give back to the Brevard area.  Learn more about all the clubs and organizations here at Connestee Falls.
