A great place to put down roots.

What a beautiful sight to see the 50 organic garden beds full of spring’s plantings, with summer's on the way. Connestee's residents originally developed the concept, constructed the raised beds, and put up barriers to prevent four legged neighbors from sharing the harvest. Since conception, additional raised beds have been added to the community garden as more residents wanted space to grow their own crops.

Gardeners grow a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers, all organically grown. There's an annual fee to rent a garden spot, but to reap the benefits that only come with getting your hands dirty, picking your own vegetables and flowers, and learning from other gardeners, the fee in nominal indeed.
